my entry for the RIFT contest.

I didn't want to draw it in in fighting szene because I think LIFE is not agressive, only if you provoke it (if you cut down the woods for example, hurr)
It doesn't really have a face, but a kind of mirror where you can see .. everything! Which would be too much for your mind and your head simply explodes when you look in it, lol

i was actually standing at my fire pit yesterday night looking up in the opening of the trees in the dark, i saw the moon and the stars and thought of this monster. its like something i would see in my dreams. you really have no idea on how much you captured me with this. thank you~

i love this. also is there a name for that type of...graphic? you know the one where they basically have their skin or body part mirror parts of the cosmos.

Great stuff! It really gives you that impression of vastness befitting a colossus. On first sight this reminded me of the forest god in princess mononoke. Did you use a texture for the stars or did you paint them? How long did the whole thing take you?

thankies. and yeeeaaah some other guys said that too xD (but the best was: oooh it looks like an old cut salami)
it took me some days... 5 evenings X_x I rarely spend so much time into a picture.
Some parts of the stars are from hubble telescope, rest is painted :D
